Job Description

1). 15- 20 years of work experience in Manufacturing & Operations, of which at least last 2-3 years heading the Factory/Unit of a FMCG/ Manufacturing outfit of repute.
2). A keen planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in ensuring smooth functioning of overall factory operations.
3). Should be able to lead a workforce of 800 members and spearhead the overall operation of the plant.
4).An engaging, result oriented, people focused individual with high levels of commercial awareness and a successful track record of significant manufacturing growth.
5). Monitor systems and procedures in the various functions of the Unit so as to ensure smooth, safe, efficient and effective operations.
6). Identify and nurture potential people in the Unit.
7). Ensure amicable and healthy relationship with different stakeholders

Job Description
1). Implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes procedures to aid and improve business performance.
2). Manage, Direct, Control and Improve Manufacturing process in Plant
3). Provide strategic leadership and lead culture building at the Unit. Percolate, Align and Drive organization policy and objectives in the Plant
4).Develop new strategies/solutions to improve value in product & process.
5). Develop strategies to meet both short and long term goals of the Unit.
6). Monitor systems & procedures in the various functions of the Unit so as to ensure smooth, safe, efficient and effective operations
7). Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
8). Report on manufacturing activities on a regular basis to the Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators
9).Deploying various methodologies to analysis processes & recommending modification to minimize escalations, reduce rejections, Improve operating Efficiency, control variability, cost & reduce cycle time.
10). Communicate & resolve operational and other issues between HO and Unit.
11). Identify & implement training and developmental needs of managers in the Unit to enable better performance in the current and changing scenario.
12). Liaison with all statutory departments & maintaining good relationship with local government and non government bodies.
13). Manage overall smooth operations in Production, Quality, Finance, Lab, Human Capital and Industrial Relations function .
